Commissioned by the City of Philadelphia, Office of the Director of Commerce. To produce a long form documentary, to be presented by, and starring Mayor John F. Street. This cycling tour of Philadelphia, illustrating the many success stories of one of the administration’s signature strategies, the Neighborhood Transformation Initiative, as well as the improvement within the Philadelphia School District, Center City, the business climate, and the New River City Initiative. ESM Productions had 21 days to conceive, shoot, and edit this piece that premiered to the media and business community to positive reviews. |

Synopsis: Commissioned by U.S. Steel to illustrate the revitalization of the former Fairless Works and highlighting the benefits of the 2005 KOIZ designation by Pennsylvania Governor Rendell. This long-form documentary takes the audience through the life of the fully integrated steel mill, its gradual shutdown, and the investment in re-developing this unique parcel of land, perhaps the most attractive materials processing site in the Northeast United States. A shorter, virtual tour of the site was produced and distributed worldwide, in several languages. |

Premiering at the plant’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, many visitors to the site, including family of employees, were able to see this manufacturing process for the first time. |
